“How to realize an effective Dossier to present your show”

Get ready for the summer festivals and improve your Dossier. You will learn how to do this at our favorite seminar with Mara Serina. This time online, so you can use the time when you can't perform to prepare promotional materials. Self Promotion in Culture is a theoretical and practical workshop on self-promotion and networking for all artists who want to be heard about them and who want to learn how to “sell” what they created in the best way. The workshop can also be attended by producers, students and those interested from the general public.

The main part of the seminar is the creation of a good dossiers and various ways of presenting their work to festival directors or institutions in various contexts.

A great advantage of the workshop is a very specific model examples in individual areas of self-promotion, creating your own dossier and individual consultations of the lecturer with the participants.

lesson n 1: which are the essential information that an artistic director of a festival or of a theater is looking for? Contents and format of a good dossier.

lesson n. 2: the style: how to write an effective dossier? how to present your show in the best way to catch the audience’s attention?

lesson n 3: practical lab: let’s work on the participant’s texts (if someone has a draft of his dossier or a presentation of his show, we can work on it).

 

The workshop will be realised during 3 days: 21, 22 and 23rd April 2021

Every day from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m. (a total of 6 hours) on the ZOOM platform.

Lessons will be led in english language.
