17. 6. 2020 I 7.00 pm | Prague I Invalidovna
The Dance Reading Club will analyze the current discourse on performative arts four times a year through readings and analyzes of theoretical texts, in dialogue with watched performances, screening of videos and films linked to specific theme. This reading practice wants to encourage the participants to develop a common base for discussion by interwoving the disciples of dance, philosophy, poetry, music and visual art. This time a little different with Good Night Readers!
Two hours long reading of chosen texts and discussion which you can join or just listen. Good night readers started as an initiation by platform Bjornsonova during quarantine as sequel of Boccacio’s Decameron taking place during plague pandemic in 14th century and which became again indispensable in current viral isolation.
Nik Timkova and Zuzana Žabková will read live in the ALTA Living Room and Tamara Antonijevic and Tanja Šljivar from the stream.
A platform for blending theory and practice and their continuous mutual dialogue.
