Zden Brungot-Svíteková

She works internationally as a dance artist, performer and choreographer. Her research focuses on movement, touch, eco-somatic approaches and active spectatorship. Her work is driven by curiosity, respect and encounters with different beings, cultures and landscapes. She graduated from the Faculty of Music and Dance at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, then continued her studies in France, USA and Norway. She attended residency programs in Paris, Finland and Iceland. Her work is characterised by creative dialogue in the context of interdisciplinary collaboration. In 2016, she co-founded the artistic association Ostružina, focused on contemporary dance and movement, and continues to participate in its management. She also collaborates with SE.S.TA for whom she leads projects focused on creative education and the artistic process. In 2023, she actively participated in the creation of the methodology School is Dancing (2024). www.ostruzina.eu
