Movement and dance as a key to creative teaching

A two-day conference on how movement and dance can open the way to creative teaching. We are organising it together with the Association of Dance and Movement Education at the new Hub 800 – Vysočina Creative and Cultural Centre at the chateau in Žďár nad Sázavou. The full programme will be published in early September.

Movement and dance as a key to creative teaching. Together with the Association of Dance and Movement Education we are preparing a two-day conference at the new Hub 800 – Vysočina Creative and Cultural Centre at the chateau in Žďár nad Sázavou, as part of the CUKR programme (Centres for Artistic and Creative Education in the Regions).

What to look forward to

  • A block for artists and creative professionals
  • A round table for teachers on the Art and Culture area in the revised Czech National Curriculum (RVP)
  • Examples of inspiring creative-education programmes for schools from the Czech Republic and abroad
  • Practical workshops for classroom practice
  • Performances for schools and for the general public

The conference is organised by the SE.S.TA Centre for Choreographic Development in cooperation with the Association of Dance and Movement Education (Asociace taneční a pohybové výchovy).

The conference is held as part of the CUKR programme – Centres for Artistic and Creative Education in the Regions – with the financial support of the Czech Ministry of Culture and the State Culture Fund.
